The Oregon Trail Game Available for Mobile

The Oregon Trail Game is available for mobile download over at gameloft. (No I don't get paid if you click to their site).

The game features all of the decision-making and problem solving of the original game as wella s 5 skill-based mini games including hunting, fishing, wagon repairing, river crossing, and rafting.

There are still random events to keep you on your toes.

The graphics have been updated to be best in class for a mobile application.

This version of the game really does feature all of the best qualities of the original Oregon Trail Game. I hope you enjoy playing it as much as me!

The Oregon Trail Game - Review

I found a great review of the Oregon Trail game over at gamespy. You can find it here.

The Oregon Trail
has long been one of my favorite games. It features relatively fast game play, with a nice degree of depth not often found in some of the classic games.

Hunting, random events, and theme all contribute to a very enjoyable gaming experience. Don't forget about the talking, trading, and rafting. Overall the game really does bring alive a lot of the pioneer experience without feeling overly educational. It really does bring history alive in a very fun way

Download The Oregon Trail Game Deluxe

You can download The Oregon Trail Game Deluxe over at classic-pc-games.com.

Once you get to the page you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom to find the download link. Once you download Oregon Trail, you can enjoy all the classic features of a truly great game.

This version has different graphics from the Apple II version, but the gameplay is still wonderful. Hunting, trading, all the good stuff is still in the game.

If you download Oregon Trail, come back and post a comment to let me know how your experience went. I want to make sure I am referring on the best sites (they don't pay me for the link).

The Oregon Trail Game - Hours Remembered

If you had a chance to download the Oregon Trail Game - Then you can appreciate how much enjoyment this game really brings.

It isn't a World of Warcraft or first person shooter. It isn't about blood and guts and killing the other guy before he kills you. It is about bringing desperate, hopeful families into a new frontier where they can start new lives and begin building a nation.

Pioneers and pioneer history have always been important to me and to my family, and I spent many hours enjoying this the Oregon Trail Game as a youngster. The random events seemed to really be the part I enjoyed the most. I always hoped something good would happen and that I would be able to avoid the diseases.

It still amazes me that people would be willing to face these kinds of challenges to help build up a nation. The unfortunate cost of life of their journey deserves more memorial than I can post on any web site, but I think the Oregon Trail game does a nice job of helping to build that memory in a fun and interesting way.
